Well I know I had a good time when Claude Vonstroke came to FACE this weekend, hope you all had an awesome night!
My blog posts will be about music but maybe of a different mood than what you would hear in the main room at FACE of course, perhaps in the bar though where the music spans across so many genre’s catering for all sounds including indie. Either way, certainly something good to listen to outside of nightlife.
My first entry is about none other than one of my favourite bands, The Black Keys. These will be for you if you’re into bluesy psychedelic rock. They consist of Dan Auerbach who does the vocals and plays guitar and Patrick Carney who plays the drums. You may or may not of heard of them but they seem to becoming more popular, and so they should in my opinion, they really are an amazing band with already 4 albums under their belt.
They’ve also made another album on top called Blakroc which is a rap rock collaboration with many hip hop and RnB artists including Pharoahe Monch, Ludacris and Mos Def.
